On December 6, 2024, members of the Milwaukee and National i.c.stars teams joined forces with United Way Techquity during one of their annual digital device giveaways. Sara Shockey, Grant Writer; Blanca Gonzales, Executive Director; and Tammie Brings, Senior Manager of Events & Sponsorship, each worked shifts to help community members get equipped with a device.
Collin Thao, our former Tech Fellow (now employed full-time at Hydrite), assisted these new device owners in becoming familiar with their equipment, installing permissions, and learning basic functionality.
