“When I reflect on this last year, I think about growth and change. Our geographic footprint and impact grew with the launch of Kansas City, we grew our leadership team with our Chief Learning and Program Officer and Kansas City Executive Director. We grew our partnerships with our Milwaukee office co-founding the local chapter of Techqueria, a national movement supporting increasing opportunities for LatinX populations in IT. We grew Chicago by moving into a larger office in anticipation of running simultaneous cohorts. We engaged our interns, alumni and stakeholders in conversations around the social determinants of health, innovation, and the cloud. All of this we did in partnership with you – our volunteers, our alumni, our donors, and employers.
This fiscal year (Sept 2022 – Aug 2023) was a year of growth and change… As we think about the future, we are excited for the work ahead. We think about creating spaces for innovation in underserved communities, shifting our teaching with the arrival of new technologies, responding to demand from other cities, and deepening our impact in Chicago, Milwaukee and Kansas City.
