What a day we had at the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Conference Center! LaTasha Jacobs, Pathway Financial Education, presented the need for a solution to encourage young people’s interest in their financial futures and steer them toward traditional banking. Crystal M. Everett, M.Ed., KCPS staff, and amazing students joined i.c.stars|* Kansas City interns to collaborate and ideate to present solutions for LaTasha Jacobs and her organization.
We loved spending the morning with these talented creatives and appreciate the time and intentionality of our guest judges: Angelique Cheatem of Pathway Financial Education, Todd Shutts of 1898 & Co., and Annie McGinnis of Vine Street Brewing Co. We’d also like to thank Shay McField and CapOne for your continued support.
Brainy Hack 2024 is in the books and it’s just the beginning!
