Jim is an innovative technology leader who has led complete departmental transformations, built new IT organizations from startup to full maturity, and prepared technology operations for successful private equity sale. He has also held executive level operation roles to lead technology merger and acquisition activity.

He currently serves as the Vice President of Information Technology for Assurance Agency. Assurance is one of the largest and most awarded independent insurance brokerages in the U.S. Their core purpose is to create measurable value for clients by passionately minimizing risk and maximizing health for their organizations.

Previously, Jim was the Chief Information Officer for Opportunity International. Operating in over 22 countries with a loan portfolio over 1.2 Billion - Opportunity International provides microfinance loans, savings, insurance and training to over 4 million people who are working their way out of poverty in the developing world. Jim led the global IT strategy, infrastructure, systems and tools to support donor management, marketing, operational, financial and collaboration systems. Many solutions focused on the complex use of technology to link donors, clients and employees.

Jim has also held various CIO, Vice President and Director level technology leadership roles in healthcare, software, consulting, higher education, and industrial service industries.

He has a Masters Degree in Information Systems from DePaul University and a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering Technologies from DeVry Institute of Technology. Jim is also a certified CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and PMP (Project Management Professional).
