David Edelstein

David Edelstein was appointed Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Systems, Health, Safety & Environment and Chief Information Officer of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in November 2007. Previously, he was Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Systems, Health, Safety & Environment and Chief Information Officer for Dade Behring. Mr. Edelstein is responsible for leading the development of advanced information and eBusiness systems to support the company’s worldwide organization. He is also responsible for the company’s regulatory affairs, quality systems, and health, safety and environment.

Mr. Edelstein joined Dade Behring in 1998 as Chief Information Officer and in 2000, he became Senior Vice President, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Systems, Health, Safety & Environment.

Prior to joining Dade Behring, Mr. Edelstein was Vice President of Information Management and Productivity at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He also held various positions in Information Technology for IBM.
Mr. Edelstein holds a B.S. in Systems and Information Science from Syracuse University and a M.B.A. from Baruch College. Mr. Edelstein currently serves on the Advisory Board at Syracuse University, L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer Science.
