Through hiring, training, and networking, DISYS continues philanthropic relationship with i.c.stars, a unique workforce development program in Chicago.

MCLEAN, Va., Apr 16, 2013 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Digital Intelligence Systems, LLC (DISYS), a leading global IT staffing and consulting company, supports the education and hiring of top IT talent by deepening its relationship with i.c.stars. The Chicago-based nonprofit offers innovative two-year higher education programs to allow low-income adults to develop advanced technical and leadership skills while obtaining an associate’s degree.

DISYS became involved with i.c.stars in November, 2010, and have since partnered with them, participating regularly in networking events, offering mock interviews to students, and hiring from the pool of talented alumni. Currently, DISYS has two graduates at active clients. As they continue to interact and prepare students, DISYS looks forward to increasing the presence of i.c.stars alumni in their pool of consultants.

On May 3rd, 2013, i.c.stars is hosting Capitalize 2013, an event that celebrates the importance of mentoring and the impact of the support local IT leaders. The event brings together over 300 C-level executives and business leaders, i.c.stars alumni, and board members to share experiences, opportunities, and network. The theme of this year’s event is the CIO/CMO strategic relationship and how both marketing and IT can begin sharing ownership of both goals and outcomes.
