President & Founder
McCann Partners

Megan McCann is an established IT recruitment leader in Greater Chicago who developed a unique, collaborative approach to IT solutions and talent services. Megan and her team integrate themselves fully with each client to truly understand the company, its culture and its needs. By focusing on matching the proper consultant to the right opportunity and establishing a strong cultural fit, Megan and her team drive incredible results for her clients.

In a career that spans nearly two decades, Megan has helped found and build two highly successful IT recruitment firms. After she began her IT recruiting career with SelecTech, which went through several buyouts, she partnered with two accomplished IT recruitment professionals to found Geneva Technical Services (GTS), where she served as a sweat equity partner.

Megan’s experience at GTS included every aspect of the business, which prepared her well for her latest endeavor: founding and building McCann Partners.

Megan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with an emphasis on Communications and Business Administration at Wittenberg University, where she has served on the Alumni Association Board. She is a founding partner of the Chicago Executive Women’s Networking Group, which cultivates and nurtures relationships among senior-level women in IT leadership roles through quarterly dinner events, and ARA Chicago, a group committed to Attracting, Retaining and Advancing women in technology through structured mentoring programs and events.

Megan has a deep commitment to giving back to the local community, especially to organizations supporting young people and big dreamers. She is actively involved with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Illinois as a founding member both of the Women’s Network and the Associate Board, as well as volunteer, committee member, and Wish Granter. A long-time volunteer with i.c.stars, Megan is grateful to now serve as part of the board.
