She directed legal marketing and business development at two well-known Chicago law firms, practiced law as a commercial litigator for over seven years, and taught legal writing at Northwestern University School of Law. In 2002, Lynne was named by i-street magazine as one of 26 women leaders in Chicago’s high tech economy. She has served on several committees under Mayor Richard Daley, former Illinois State Treasurer Judy Baar Topinka’s Advisory Board for Women, and is a member of the board of ic stars, a not-for-profit organization that trains inner city young adults in technology and leadership skills. Lynne has performed and taught acting and improvisation, and has run communications training workshops for a variety of audiences, including companies such as Discover Card.
