Edward Earl

Ed Earl is Chief Information Officer at Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS: LFUS), a global company offering the broadest line of circuit protection products in the electronics and automotive industries.

A goal-oriented IT executive with over 20 years of management, team development and technology leadership experience, Ed has been at Littelfuse since 2000, where his responsibilities range from directing IT strategic development activities and managing the company’s global IT applications and infrastructure, to executing and aligning IT with overall corporate objectives. Experienced in driving and managing change, he currently heads a team charged with selecting and implementing new sites for Littelfuse world headquarter and technical center.

At Littelfuse, Ed has focused on integrating SAP at each of Littelfuse’s legacy locations which is now complete. This milestone was reached in 2007 with the integration of the company’s Seoul, Korea facility. Under his direction, the company’s implementation of SAP has become streamlined, resulting in twice as many integrations being completed each year, with half of the effort and manpower. Ed has also been involved in the company’s many mergers and acquisitions, leading the successful migration of IT within sales, distribution and manufacturing activities at newly added locations, including a $75 million business in Germany with operations throughout Europe.

Ed received his MBA and Masters of Science degree in Management information Systems from Illinois Benedictine University and his Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Elmhurst College. Awarded CIO magazine ‘Ones to Watch’ award in 2008 and AITP’s Most Effective Team award in 2009.
