Ramesh Rangarajan is a Vice President of Engineering with Ascension Technologies, a division of Ascension Healthcare, where he’s responsible for leading the software engineering organization to execute on Ascension’s digital transformation vision.

Prior to his current position, Ramesh was a Vice President at Motorola Solutions with responsibility for leading a global engineering organization for a new software business in the Unified Communications space. In this role, Ramesh led the development of a full portfolio of mobile, cloud and IoT enabled products for enhanced communication and collaboration for public safety and industrial blue collar work teams. This was crucial to the company’s transformation from a hardware to a software and services centric business. Ramesh has assumed several engineering leadership roles in his 26 year tenure at Motorola spanning three countries.

Ramesh has a degree in physics and computer science from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India.
