i.c.stars MILWAUKEE AWARDED WITH GRANT FROM GREEN BAY PACKERS FOUNDATION

i.c.stars has been awarded a grant from the Green Bay Packers Foundation as part of the Foundation’s annual grant cycle. Through this grant, i.c.stars Milwaukee will directly invest in improving participant wellness and removing barriers to economic mobility. Grant funding will provide participants with weekly stipends, ongoing case management support, and access to mental health resources.
By reducing financial strain and expanding access to holistic support services, i.c.stars ensures participants can remain on track to complete its training program and launch careers in technology.

i.c.stars Milwaukee was honored at a luncheon event at Lambeau Field in December along with other nonprofit organizations throughout Wisconsin that received a grant. This year, the Foundation focused on awarding grants to organizations that will use the funds for programs or projects that address animal welfare, health and wellness, including drug, alcohol and domestic violence, civic and community initiatives and environmental causes.

This year, in its distribution of annual grants, the Foundation awarded $1.5 million to 398 civic and charitable groups throughout the state of Wisconsin.
