 In recognition of Black History Month and the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., what better time to have a celebration, continue the conversation and begin a collaboration that honors his legacy with Hack the Dream and TECHuity – where Social Justice, Health Equity and Technology collide!

The heart of Kansas City’s black businesses, many of the buildings in the historic Vine District were built and designed by African Americans. Located just east of Downtown Kansas City, the neighborhood is the metropolitan area's historic center of African American culture. In 1991, the national historic district encompassing 35 contributing buildings was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
