MILWAUKEE, WI August 8th, 2018 – i.c.stars Milwaukee graduates its first class of interns today, with several having already accepted offers from Milwaukee area businesses.

In April of this year, i.c.stars Milwaukee launched the four month technology and business leadership boot-camp with The Dohmen Company as their anchor sponsor.

i.c.stars graduates will join the workforce in roles across analytics, help desk support, cybersecurity, and software and application development. Briggs & Stratton, von Briesen & Roper, s.c., Red Arrow Labs, and Dohmen Company Foundation are among the first to hire from the inaugural class.

Businesses looking for developed talent, change-driven leaders with diverse perspectives ready and eager to enter the workforce, can contact i.c.stars for hiring opportunities. As the second cohort prepares to launch in September, business can also partner with i.c.stars in several areas: project sponsorships to provide interns a design or development challenge; workshop sponsorships to develop i.c.stars interns’ leadership and technical skills; mentor sponsorships to foster diversity and inclusion in the tech sector; and volunteer coaching opportunities.
