Through a rigorous selection process, we carefully choose participants who are prepared to undergo and complete our intensive workforce development program. Candidates are screened for an ability to overcome adversity, and for an innate drive to succeed in the business world and lead change in our communities.
Below are the program requirements for candidates who enroll into the program:
- GED recipient or High School graduate
- Availability from 8 a.m.–8 p.m., Monday–Saturday for four consecutive months, followed by availability from 8 a.m.–6 p.m., Monday–Friday for 1–2 years
- Ability to pursue an associates degree
- Ability to uphold and honor a 0 absences/0 tardiness policy
- Maintained employment for 6 months to 1 year at any point
- Ability to commute daily to Chicago
- Motivated to drive social change
